Britain has seen a rise in Covid-19 cases again, with experts warning of a ' tough winter' ahead. Recent data shows that more than a million people across the nation have the virus.
According to the latest Government statistics, the percentage of people testing positive for coronavirus in England increased for the week ending September 17. It showed that around one in every 65 people had the virus at the time.
As reported by Chronicle Live, an estimated 1.1million people in private households across the UK tested positive for Covid-19 in the latest ONS survey. This data covers the seven days to September 17 in England, and the week to September 30 in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
