A popular southside Indian restaurant has announced that it will be moving to a "bigger and better" site.
The Swagath Indian Restaurant in Barrhead posted the exciting news on their official Facebook page stating that they were moving down the road.
Currently, at the prominent Dovecothall Street site across from St John's Church, they are now moving to the former Waterfront Bar and Restaurant at 24 Glasgow Road.

Posting on Facebook, the excited team wrote: "Our Indian Restaurant has a brand new home! We are moving just two minutes away to a bigger and better location with over 30 parking spaces.
"Same great taste, new and improved atmosphere."
Delighted fans flocked to share their congratulations and approval of the new site.
One wrote: "So glad to see a restaurant doing well in the current climate. All too often the story is about favourite places closing down. This is well-deserved."
While another added: "We love this restaurant excited about trying out the new location."
