A much-loved dad and popular DJ was found dead by his girlfriend at home.
Frank George Moran, 27, died in his back garden on Logfield Drive in Garston on October 5 last year. Frank was a DJ known as Talk2Frank and was described as hugely talented and someone who made an “enormous impact on many lives”.
At an inquest at Gerard Majella Courthouse today, senior coroner André Rebello said Frank had suffered from a history of "depressive" periods following "traumatic incidents in his life." The dad-of-one returned home between 9am and 9.30am on October 5 and was downstairs in his home while his partner Laura went upstairs.

After being unable to find Frank downstairs, she noticed the backdoor was open and Frank was outside. Emergency services rushed to the address and CPR attempts were carried out but despite their best efforts, the 27-year-old was pronounced dead at 10.25am.
A post-mortem examination found the cause of death to be hanging and a toxicology report found levels of alcohol, cocaine and ketamine. Hundreds of tributes poured in for Frank following his death, including clubs and bars where Frank had DJ'd.
City centre club venue Lost Lounge previously shared a statement alongside videos of him playing DJ sets.
The post said: "Only Frank could empty the upstairs like he did and bring the party downstairs. Didn’t matter that there was a couple of big hitters fresh from Creamfields, they couldn’t come anywhere near you Frank.
"Top came off for the end of the set and no one wanted to go home. You had only just started, gone far too soon mate."
In a tribute, councillor Sam Gorst, from the Cressington ward, previously said: "Garston is in mourning. Many residents are remembering the life and memories of Frank Moran. Someone who clearly had an enormous impact on many lives, both young and old.
"The love people had for him and the love they felt from him is not easy to put in words. I didn't know Frank well but what I did like was the fact that he listened and was straight talking, qualities I admire in a person.
"From the amazing words, pictures and hurt that I have seen and felt today I know that he was most certainly a very special young man. Rest in peace Frank."
Lynnie Williams, Labour councillor for Cressington, also said: "Not even sure where to begin, being a youth worker under the bridge was the greatest honour and privilege I've ever had, watching so many kids grow in so many ways, they truly enriched my life and none more so than Frank Moran. My permanent headache, my biggest heart.
"I am absolutely devastated for Laura, your beautiful son, our family and the whole community. Frank I will forever be in your debt for watching out for my Toby, no one will ever really know just how much that meant to me, he loved you like a brother, and you him."
Senior coroner Mr Rebello concluded the death was suicide after taking cocaine with ketamine and alcohol. Addressing Frank's family, Mr Rebello said how "love actually transcends death" and for them to treasure the memories they have together.
