Liz Truss will today lead tributes in the House of Commons to Queen Elizabeth II following her death yesterday at the age of 96.
The planned 9.30am sitting of the Commons has been changed, with MPs now due to meet in the chamber from noon.
They will have the opportunity to pay tribute to the Queen, with the Prime Minister due to go first in a session which is expected to last until 10pm this evening.
Similar arrangements will be in place in the House of Lords, with peers also meeting from noon to pay their own tributes.
Ms Truss will also attend her first audience as Prime Minister with King Charles III at Buckingham Palace this afternoon.
Politics as normal has been put on hold as the nation enters a 10-day period of mourning, lasting until the Queen’s funeral.
