Police used water canons to disperse Youth Congress workers

Raipur : Police used water canons to disperse Youth Congress workers protesting against Union Home Minister Amit Shah's remarks on BR Ambedkar in Chhattisgarh's Raipur on Monday.

A police official was heard asking, "Do not break the barricade", Sit down," as the protesters raised slogans hailing Congress MP and Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi.

Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Congress President Ajay Rai has demanded the resignation of Union Home Minister Amit Shah amid protests over alleged remarks against BR Ambedkar.
