Police have issued an update on a man arrested on suspicion of murder after another man fell from a window.
The 43-year-old has been released under police investigation while enquiries continue. Emergency services were called to Longmoor Lane in Fazakerley at around 9.55pm on Sunday, May 8 after reports a man in his 40s had fallen from a top floor window to his death.
Merseyside Police said a 43-year-old man, known to the victim, had been arrested on suspicion of murder. A police spokesperson confirmed to the ECHO today the man has since been released under investigation while enquiries remain ongoing.

Longmoor Lane was closed for a large part of Sunday night while officers remained at the scene. The road reopened on Monday morning as officers reduced the cordon to just cover the three-storey property and the neighbouring buildings.
Neighbours told the ECHO of their shock at the distressing incident that had become the talking point of their community. One woman said they heard a "bang" before police swarmed to the street. A man witnessed the fall and said he was "in shock" after he "saw a body tumbling".
Enquiries remain ongoing into the man's death.
