Police threat as 'rare plant vanishes' from Scottish beach earmarked for golf course

CAMPAIGNERS have said they will call the police over the alleged disappearance of a rare plant from parts of a protected Highland beach on which developers are aiming to build a golf course.

The revelation comes from newly published submissions to Scottish Government ministers, who are considering whether to approve plans to build an 18-hole course at Coul Links, near Dornoch.
