Police were called after a man was hit by a tram in Nottingham. The incident took place near Highbury Vale tram stop shortly before 1.45pm on January 11.
The man’s injuries are not thought to be serious, according to Nottinghamshire Police. A Nottinghamshire Police spokesman said: “Officers are in attendance following a collision involving a man and a tram.
“The incident happened near Highbury Vale tram stop shortly before 1.45pm today (11 January 2023). The man’s injuries are not thought to be serious.

“Officers are working to establish the full circumstances and witnesses are asked to call 101 quoting incident 281 of 11 January 2023.” In a Twitter post, NET tram explained the incident had closed the line between Highbury Vale and Phoenix Park.
It added: "Due to a police incident we have no service between Highbury Vale and Phoenix Park. Please see info@thetram.net for further information"
