Police were today spending a second day searching a commercial unit in Manchester following a swoop by armed cops.
Firearms officers were called to the unit in north Manchester at around 11am on Thursday following reports of two men causing a disturbance and making threats. Fire crews were later called at around 5pm to a suspected gas leak at the property.
Firefighters spent Thursday evening making sure the unit was safe. Today (Friday) the fire service were no longer at the scene but a heavy police presence remained.
