Police have seized half a million pounds worth of cannabis in a commercial unit raid. Officers attended the units in Aberbargoed, Caerphilly, at around 1.40pm on Wednesday, June 29, where they found two storeys worth of cannabis plans.
Around one thousand plants were found in the raid, worth an estimated £500,000. A cordon was set up in the area whilst police dismantled the cultivation.
Gwent Police, who found the cannabis farm after a search of the area, said the plants were of varying maturity. The force is yet to release any details of any arrests and said the "investigation to identify those responsible is currently ongoing".
