Man found 'safe and well' after going missing from Scots town

A 45-year-old man who went missing from Rosyth has been found safe and well, according to police.

Andrew Dykes was last seen yesterday between 3pm and 4pm on Castlandhill Road in the town.

The man's family were said to have been 'very upset' as he had never gone missing before.

Andrew is described as white, around 5ft. 4 inches in height, with a stocky build. He has very short dark hair, a pale complexion and dark stubble.

He was last seen wearing a black jacket, grey t-shirt, blue jeans and white or grey coloured trainers. He may be wearing a dark blue baseball cap. He is also carrying a grey coloured backpack.

Following a public appeal for information on his whereabouts, officers have confirmed that Andrew has been 'traced safe and well'. They thanked the public for their assistance.
