Police search for missing girl, 12, with links to Manchester

Police are searching for a missing 12-year-old girl who was last seen around 4pm yesterday afternoon.

Brooklyn Nash has been reported missing from her home in Southport, Merseyside, and officers are keen to try and locate her to make sure she's safe and well.

The 12-year-old was last seen in her hometown at 4pm yesterday afternoon, June 18. Brooklyn is known to have links to Manchester and the Liverpool city centre areas though, so may have travelled to either of those places

Brooklyn is described as a white girl of medium build, around 5'5" tall with long, straight, brown and blonde hair. The last time she was seen, she was wearing a grey hoodie, black leggings, and pink Air Jordan trainers.

A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: "Please share and help us find 12-year-old Brooklyn Nash who is missing from home in Southport. Brooklyn was last seen in Southport at around 4pm on Saturday 18 June.

"She is described as white female, around 5ft, 5in tall of medium build with long straight brown and blonde hair. When last seen, Brooklyn was wearing a grey hoodie, black leggings and pink Air Jordan trainers. Brooklyn has links to the Manchester area and Liverpool City Centre area, including Williamson Square.

"Please pass on any sightings of Brooklyn via our online form. You can also pass information on via @MerPolCC on Twitter, 'Merseyside Police Contact Centre' on Facebook, 101, or Missing People on 116 000."
