Police have released a new image of a woman who vanished overnight from Renfrewshire as cops continue in their search.
Harshita Gottipati, 38, was last seen at around 9.45am in the Millarston area of Paisley on Tuesday.
The woman, who may also go by the name of Harshita Atei, left her home address on Main Road to go for a walk.
She has not been seen since.
Harshita is described as of Indian ethnicity, 5ft 8ins, of medium build, with long black hair and brown eyes.
When last seen she was wearing a knee-length brown woollen coat, grey tracksuit bottoms, and blue trainers.
She was also wearing a distinctive pair of and black and white headphones, as pictured above.
Officers say Harshita's disappearance is 'completely out of character' and are urging anyone with any information on her whereabouts to come forward.
Sergeant Will Thomson, of Police Paisley Police Station, said: "We are becoming concerned for Harshita’s well-being as it is completely out of character for her not to be in touch with her family.
“She is known to go for walks along nearby cycle paths so we are asking anyone out and about to keep an eye out for her.
"We are also asking people to check in sheds and out buildings in case she has sought shelter.”
Anyone who may have seen Harshita or knows where she might be should contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 3386 of Tuesday, 22 February, 2022.
