Police release CCTV of man in surgical mask after car set on fire in Glasgow street

Police have released a CCTV image after a car was set on fire in a Glasgow car park.

Emergency services raced to the car park on St Vincent Terrace in Anderston after the alarm was raised at around 10.30pm on Monday, November 7.

Officers received a report of a car on fire before the blaze spread to a further two vehicles.

Cops probing the incident believe the fire was started deliberately and they have released an image of a man they believe "may be able to assist with their ongoing enquiries".

The man is described as white, with a slim build and short hair.

He was wearing a black hooded bubble jacket and a surgical face mask.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Anyone with information or who recognises the man in the image is asked to contact CID officers at Drumchapel Police Station via 101, quoting incident number 3831 of November 7, 2022.

"Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111 where anonymity can be maintained."
