(Picture: AFP via Getty Images)Brazilian police have opened a criminal investigation into the disappearance of a journalist who went missing in the Amazon rainforest, as his sister said “time is crucial” in the search for him.
Dom Phillips disappeared on Sunday morning while on a two-day boat trip through the Javari region of Brazil’s Amazonas state where he was reporting for a book he is writing about conservation.
