Police were onto a winner as a huge cannabis farm believed to have been packed with hundreds of plants was uncovered and dismantled in an operation lasting days.
The discovery was made at a derelict former William Hill bookies in Tameside.
Police and electricity engineers were called in to assess the site around the derelict building is on the corner of Cheetham Hill Road and Lodge Lane in Dukinfield, Tameside.

Photographs taken by the Manchester Evening News capture the sheer scale of the recovery operation, which is said to have lasted several days.
Bags and bags of mature plants were taken out, with forensic investigators wearing white protective suits involved in the recovery.
Police community support officers were shown filling up a truck parked up at the side of the building.
An electrical socket board was also shown in the images, suggesting the mains supply had been by-passed by those growing the drugs.
All the cannabis seized was placed into evidence bags for further analysis and at some point, is expected to be incinerated.
It's understood police were called to the scene last Friday and our photographs were taken on Tuesday.
One witness at the scene claimed the electricity supply had been wired up to lamp posts outside the property, with electricity engineers also said to have attended.
It is not known exactly how many plants were recovered or what the estimated street value of the haul was.
It's also unknown whether any arrests have been made in connection with the find.
The Manchester Evening News has approached Greater Manchester Police and police in Tameside for further comment and information.
