Police looking for seriously injured man, not seen since car crash

Police are trying to find a missing young farmer who may have sustained a serious injury in a car accident.

Devon & Cornwall Police have been trying to locate Jack Thomas, 21, who disappeared at 3am on Sunday (June 11).

Police say he may have been seriously injured in a car accident and might need medical treatment.

Jack is described as 6ft, with blonde hair. He was last seen wearing a dark jumper and jeans.

An appeal to locate him posted on Facebook by his friend has been shared nearly 6,000 times on the social media site.

Hundreds of people are said to be searching for Jack, who was part of the Cornish 'Young Farmers' group.

A statement by Devon & Cornwall Police said: "Officers are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of Jack Thomas, a 21-year-old man from Cornwall.

"Jack’s last known whereabouts was in the area of Chiverton Cross Roundabout in the early hours of Sunday 11 June.

"It’s understood that Jack had been travelling in a vehicle that was involved in a serious collision and officers are concerned that he may have sustained a serious injury and could require medical treatment.

"Jack is described as a white male, 6ft tall with blonde hair. He was last seen wearing a dark jumper and jeans.

"Searches and enquiries are ongoing in order to locate him but police would like to hear from anyone who has seen his or knows of his whereabouts to get in touch.

"Anyone who sees them is asked to contact police on 999 quoting log 173 11/06/23."
