- The Mohave County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed two weeks later that Sheets' cause of death was suicide, a ruling also acknowledged by the Lake Havasu City Police Department, pending toxicology results.
- Police are actively investigating allegations of cyberbullying linked to Sheets' death, with his cellular phone submitted for forensic analysis to advance the case.
- René Nezhoda, Sheets' co-star, publicly claimed that Sheets had been subjected to intense cyberbullying prior to his death and urged the public to contact police with any relevant information.
- Sheets, who appeared in Storage Wars from 2010 to 2023, had retired to Arizona after suffering a heart attack in 2019, where he operated an antique store.
