Police have issued a warning after children as young as 11 were seen throwing things at passing cars from an old railway bridge.
Cars have reportedly been left damaged over the past few days after objects were hurled at them from bridges over Liverpool Road in Cadishead.
Officers, who are regularly patrolling the area, have identified three children aged 12 and another aged just 11 as being responsible for the spate of attacks on the disused railway line and have asked for the area to be secured by Network Rail.
