A man who fell from the roof of a building remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Merseyside Police today issued an update on the incident on Hornhouse Lane in Kirkby on Tuesday, which is part of Knowsley Industrial Park. Police, paramedics and an air ambulance were called to the area at around 2.15pm following reports a man had fallen from a roof.
He was taken to hospital with injuries which are not believed to be life threatening. A police spokesperson today confirmed the man's condition is now serious but stable.

The ECHO understands the incident occurred at Studley Engineering Ltd, a mechanical contractor on Knowsley Industrial Park. Several roads were closed following the incident which police said has now been referred to Health and Safety Executive.
A police spokesperson said: "Merseyside Police can confirm officers are in attendance in Knowsley this afternoon (Tuesday, May 10). Emergency services were called to an industrial premises on Hornhouse Lane at around 2.15pm, to reports a man had fallen from a roof.
"Police, the North West Ambulance Service and Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service were in attendance. The man has been taken to hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
"Enquiries into the incident are ongoing."
