Police have issued a CCTV appeal after a man was attacked twice in one night in Oldham.
The attack happened near the junction of Heron Street and Little Town at around 8pm on Thursday, March 9. Police said the man was assaulted after an 'altercation'.
He fled the scene but returned back a short time later to find his personal items. He was then attacked again and was left with serious injuries to his face.

Police want to speak to the man pictured on CCTV about the incident. A post on the GMP Oldham Facebook page said: "#APPEAL | GMP Officers appeal for further information after an assault in #Oldham.
"On Thursday 9 March 2023 at around 8pm, officers received reports of an assault of a man close to the junction on Heron Street and Littletown in Oldham. It is believed the victim was assaulted following an altercation, the victim fled the scene after a short period of time returned to the scene to recover personal items.
"The victim was further assaulted leaving them with serious facial injuries. Officers would like to speak to the man pictured below in regards to this incident.
