Police investigation after death of 23-year-old solider based at Albermarle Barracks in Northumberland

Police Northumberland

Police are investigating following the death of a soldier based at a barracks in Northumberland.

Gunner Sophie Madden was part of the 3rd Regiment Royal Horse Artillery, located at Albermarle Barracks. The 23-year-old, understood to be from Lancashire, died on June 10 in Folkestone, Kent.

Her death is currently being investigated by Kent Police.
