Police "increasingly concerned" for woman, 38, missing from Paisley

Police are becoming "increasingly concerned about a woman who is missing from Paisley.

Officers are appealing for help from the public to trace 38-year-old Harshita Gottipatti, who may also go by the name of Harshita Atei.

She was last seen about 9:45am in the Millarston area of the town on yesterday (Tuesday).

Harshita is described as Indian ethnicity, 5ft 8in, medium build, with long black hair and brown eyes.

When last seen she was wearing a knee length brown woollen coat, grey tracksuit bottoms, blue trainers and black/white headphones.

Police Constable Gardner from Paisley Police Station said: "We are becoming concerned for the whereabouts of Harshita and as time goes on we are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare, as this is completely out of character.

"Anyone who may have seen Harshita or has any information on her whereabouts is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 3386 of 22/02//2022."
