Police increasingly concerned for missing Scot's welfare after disappearance

Police have launched a frantic search for a missing East Lothian man last seen on Monday.

Officers say they are increasingly concerned for Gary McGregor's welfare,and are appealing to anyone with any information to come forward.

The 26-year-old, from Tranent, was last seen around 10.30am on Monday, August 1, in the Elphinstone area.

He is described as around 5ft 7inches tall, of medium build. He was wearing a black T-shirt, black jogging bottoms and black trainers when he was last seen.

Gary has links to the east side of Edinburgh, and Easthouses in Dalkeith.

Anyone with information on Gary’s whereabouts or who thinks they may have seen him since Monday is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting reference 3147 of 2 August, 2022.
