Police say they're becoming increasingly concerned for an Ayrshire woman who vanished yesterday morning.
The disappearance of June Allan is "very out of character" officers said this morning after she went missing on Saturday at around 8.30am from New Street in Stevenston.
The 54-year-old is described as being around 5ft 2in in height, of medium build, with blonde bobbed hair and blue eyes.
When last seen she was wearing a thigh length purple puffer jacket, black leggings and walking shoes. She was also carrying an orange carrier bag.
Inspector Darren Muir of Irvine Police Office said: “This is very out of character and we are becoming increasingly concerned for her safety. We are appealing to anyone who has seen June or who has any information on her whereabouts to contact us.
“We would also ask June herself to contact us or go to a police station to let us know she is alright.”
Anyone with any information is asked to contact 101 quoting reference number 2205 of March 11, 2023.
