Gunshots have been fired in a shopping centre in Malmo, Sweden causing police to cordon off the area.
Local media are reporting that two people have been shot.
In a brief statement Swedish police said: “Shots have been fired at the Emporia shopping center in Malmo.
“The police are at the scene with a large amount of resources and the location has been cordoned off”.
No further information was released.
The Emporia shopping centre is one of the biggest in Scandanavia and has around seven million visitors annually.
