Police in Leeds shame 'selfish' driver as his car gets towed for blocking person's driveway

Police in Leeds have been praised for their quick action against 'selfish' parking as their post went viral.

West Yorkshire Police for Leeds East posted on Facebook yesterday evening a picture that showed a driver had parked halfway across a drive way in Garforth. After police couldn't find the driver, they removed the car.

The post read: "Officers attended at an address in Garforth this morning where a vehicle had parked across a drive to the point where the householder could not get their car out of the drive. Officers carried out enquires but the owner could not be located so unfortunately the vehicle had to be removed."
