Police in Lanarkshire launch appeal to trace missing pensioner

Police in East Kilbride are appealing for information to help trace a man missing from the area.

Adam Mair, 73, was last seen in Paisley around 11am today.

He is described as being around 5ft 9ins in height, of medium build, bald with short white hair around sides and wears glasses.

When last seen he was wearing a dark blue parka jacket.

Adam was last seen in the Paisley area earlier today but it is believed he may have travelled to Glencoe.

He has access to a blue Volkswagen Polo car, with the plate SM08UJH.

Sergeant Victoria Shanley said: “We are appealing for the help of the public to trace Adam and would ask anyone who has seen anyone matching his description or who has any information on his whereabouts to contact us.

“Additionally, I would ask anyone who has seen his vehicle to get in touch.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact 101 quoting incident 1898 of 3 November, 2022.
