Police are hunting a serial tomato thrower after seven people have been pummelled in drive-by fruit lobbings.
The unprovoked assaults - involving tomatoes and apples - have left two people seriously injured in Eastbourne and Hastings leading to Sussex Police launching the appeal.
A woman who was hit in the face by a piece of fruit lobbed from a moving vehicle was left with a broken cheekbone, police said.
