Police are appealing for information about an alleged hit-and-run incident in south Canberra which left two teenagers injured and in hospital last month.
ACT Policing and emergency services were called to Wentcher Place in Richardson about 8.25pm on Tuesday, August 18, after an unidentified vehicle allegedly hit two young people.
A police spokesman said ACT Ambulance Service paramedics treated the injured pair before taking them to hospital for further assessment.
The driver of the vehicle involved, who is accused of leaving the scene without exchanging details with the victims, allegedly did not stop to help the two teenagers.
Investigators have released a grainy image of the vehicle, a grey or silver early-model hatchback or sports utility vehicle (SUV), believed to be involved in the incident.
Police urged anyone who witnessed the incident, or who had CCTV or dash-cam footage of the vehicle in the Richardson area around the time of the incident, to contact Crime Stoppers ACT quoting reference number 8475383.
