GMP officers found a large illegal cannabis farm in Bolton today.
Officers from the Bolton North neighbourhood team carried out a search warrant at a home on Tonge Moor Road where they found the farm (January 28).
The police posted pictures of the large quantities of drugs found at the property and said they had arrived shortly after the plants had been cropped and prepared for bagging.
GMP Bolton North posted on social media: "Today officers from a #BoltonNorth neighbourhood team executed a Misuse of Drugs Warrant on Tonge Moor Road, Bolton.
"Once inside we found a large quantity of cannabis and the remains of a farm.
"We'd just like to say thank you.
"Usually we spend hours dismantling these farms, cutting down plants and bagging them up, but not today. Today, we arrived shortly after the plants had been cropped and were getting ready for bagging up. This has saved us hours.
"The occupier wasn't in on our visit, but we'll be back for them later.
"We couldn't carry out this work without information you the public provide, thank you."
