Police found around £60,000 worth of cannabis, £1,500 in cash and multiple other drugs inside a 'suspicious car' they stopped on the M60.
Officers stopped the vehicle on the motorway near junction six in Trafford at around 12.55am yesterday morning (November 30). The car was first spotted 'driving suspiciously'.
After it stopped, police searched the car and found a large amount of cannabis inside. They also found mephedrone, known as Mcat, and cocaine.

Around £1,500 in cash was also uncovered. Police searched the two people in the car.
A 42-year-old man and 40-year-old woman were were arrested at the scene on suspicion of possession of cannabis with intent to supply, possession of mephedrone with intent to supply and possession of cocaine. They both remain in custody to be quizzed by detectives.
In a statement, Greater Manchester Police said: "On Wednesday 30 November 2022 at around 12:56am, an on-duty Road Policing Unit officer noticed a vehicle driving in a suspicious manner on the M60 motorway close to Junction 6 at Trafford. The officer subsequently signalled the driver to stop the vehicle.
"After the officer stopped the vehicle, the two occupants of the vehicle and the vehicle were searched and approximately £60K worth of cannabis, £1.5K worth of cash and other drugs were found and seized from the vehicle. A 42-year-old man and 40-year-old woman were arrested at the scene for possession of cannabis with intent to supply, possession of mephedrone with intent to supply and possession of a cocaine.
"The man and woman remain in custody for further questioning."
