Marelle Sturrock Police Mugdock Country Park David Yates

Police divers are searching a reservoir at Mugdock Country Park in the hunt for the missing partner of a pregnant teacher who was found dead at home on Tuesday.

Marelle Sturrock, 35, was discovered at her flat in Jura Street on Tuesday morning after she failed to turn up for work at Sandwood Primary School in Glasgow. Police are treating her death as 'suspicious' and have been undertaking searches of Mugdock Country Park, nine miles from her Craigton home.

Units were seen arriving at Drumclog Moor car park on Thursday afternoon in the search for David Yates, 36. A stack of red kayaks and specialist equipment was unloaded from a police van.
