Police have urged people not to attend an "illegal gathering" at the Kenfig Industrial Estate in Margam. Officers did not specify the nature of the gathering, although several social media posts suggested a rave was taking place at the site.
Members of the public have been told to avoid the area and not attend on foot or in vehicles. Road closures have been put in place and a police order to direct persons to leave the area is in force.
South Wales Police said on Twitter at 3.43 on Sunday morning: “Police are aware of an illegal gathering at Kenfig Industrial Estate Margam. There is an order in place to direct persons to leave the area.
“For public safety reasons, please do not attend on foot or in vehicles. There are current road closures in place.”
