A road in Salford has been taped off this evening following reports of a girl having bleach 'thrown' on her.
It is understood that police and ambulance services rushed to Wortley Avenue in Weaste just after 8pm tonight (Tuesday February 21). One eyewitness told the Manchester Evening News he saw three young women 'throw bleach all over' another woman, who he believed to be around 20 years old.
Forensic officers carried out investigations at the scene this evening, it has been reported. The exact nature of the incident has not yet been confirmed by police.

"It's vile," the witness told the M.E.N. "I've seen some s**t around here, but that's top of it, that is. It was three girls who did it. They attacked one girl. I heard the screams, but at first I just thought they were playing. But then I realised they had thrown bleach all over her."
Another resident called the incident 'absolutely shocking'.
Greater Manchester Police have been contacted for comment.
