Police are continuing to investigate the possible link between two deaths in Lanarkshire.
The bodies of a man and a woman were discovered within two days of each other at nearby properties in Coatbridge.
And cops are treating the death of John Paul Duffy as murder, as a probe was launched earlier this week.
The 51-year-old was found dead on Sunday, April 10 within a flat on Coates Street in the town.
The body of a woman, who has yet to be identified, was then discovered on Tuesday, April 10, within a property on nearby Calder Street.
The woman's death is being treated as unexplained.
Officers are now keen to speak with anyone who may have seen Mr Duffy days prior to his body being found
And a police presence has been spotted at the two addresses, as officers continue their enquiries.
Meanwhile, people who knew John Paul have taken to social media to pay tribute to the Celtic fan, who was also known as "Pope".
One local wrote: "So sad R.I.P Pope, had some good times way back. Thinking of both families. Fly high."
"Rest in peace, thinking of their families and friends", added another.
Another local told: "He was in my class at school. So sad," while a fifth posted: "So sad rest in peace pal xx."
"Rest easy John Paul Duffy", wrote another user on Facebook.
DCI Graham Grant told Lanarkshire Live: “The deaths are being treated as linked and officers are currently carrying out extensive enquiries into both incidents.
“I would ask the public for their patience as our investigation continues to establish the full circumstances.
"There is an increased police presence in the area and anyone with concerns should call us on 101 or speak to officers.
“We are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen or spoken to Mr Duffy in the days before his body was found, including anyone who may have visited his flat.
"We are also carrying out enquiries to establish places or persons Mr Duffy visited or frequented in the days before his death.”
