Two men and a woman have been arrested after a man was injured during a 'disturbance' in Piccadilly Gardens. A 38-year-old man suffered a hand injury following the incident at around 9pm last night (Wednesday May 4).
A large area of Piccadilly Gardens was taped off, including a cordon in front of Morrisons and another cordon in front of Five Guys. Photographs also showed blood-stained clothes at the scene.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) confirmed that two men, aged 19 and 21, have been arrested on suspicion of affray, along with a 22-year-old woman. All three remain in custody.

A GMP spokesman said: "Officers were called just before 9pm last night (4 May 2022) to a report of a disturbance Piccadilly Gardens in Manchester. Emergency services attended and a 38-year-old man suffered a hand injury.
"Two males aged 21 and 19 and a 22-year-old woman have been arrested on suspicion of affray. They remain in custody at this time."
