A disturbing Japan hamster killing case has taken another turn after police re-arrested a 36-year-old high school staff member over the alleged killing of about 30 hamsters at a hotel in Iwate Prefecture.
Motoki Kimura, an employee of Iwate Prefectural Miyako Fisheries High School, was re-arrested on 31 August over an alleged incident in late March. Police also arrested Haruka Fujisawa, 20, a temporary worker, over her alleged involvement.
