Police appeal for help to find missing couple with baby that needs medical attention

A search has been launched for a couple who have been missing with their baby since March. Police have now issued an appeal to find Jurian and Brisilda Baxhia and their one-year-old child.

Officers are concerned that the little one has an undiagnosed medical condition and need to be seen by a doctor. Asking for the public's help, Durham Constabulary said the family was last seen at Sheffield’s Children’s Hospital.

They have links to County Durham, Northumbria, South Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, reports LincolnshireLive.

A spokesperson for Durham Constabulary said: "Police are trying to trace the couple because it is thought the baby could have an undiagnosed medical condition, which requires further examination by doctors. The family were last seen at Sheffield’s Children’s Hospital in March this year, but have connections in County Durham and Northumbria, as well as across South Yorkshire and Lincolnshire."

Anyone with information about the couple and baby should call Durham Constabulary on 101, quoting reference MSP00009997. Durham Constabulary added that if the parents saw the appeal, they should attend their nearest hospital so the child can be checked by medical staff.
