Police are appealing for information following the serious assault of a 29-year-old man in Lanark.
The incident took place at a property on Smyllum Road and was reported around 9.05am on Tuesday, September 20, 2022.
The victim was taken to Wishaw General Hospital with serious, but not life-threatening injuries.
Detective Constable Murray McMillan, from Wishaw CID, said: “We’re appealing to anyone with information on this attack, or who saw anything suspicious in the Smyllum Road area on Tuesday morning, to please come forward.
“We are also keen to hear from anyone who may have CCTV or dashcam footage from the area around that time, such as motorists heading to work or parents taking children to school.
“If you believe you can assist our enquiries, please call 101, quoting incident 0579 of 20 September. Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, if you wish to remain anonymous.”
