Police are urging members of the public to come forward with information after a fatal collision in Knutsford.
The incident took place on Saturday (April 15) on Mobberley Road. A green Jaguar Sovereign car and a blue Scania horsebox were involved in the tragic crash.
The driver of the car, a 39-year-old man from Macclesfield, sadly died at the scene. The driver of the horsebox, and the horse were uninjured.

Officers are now asking anyone with any information that could aid their investigation to get in touch.
In a statement, Cheshire Police said: "Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision in Knutsford.
"At 8.28pm on Saturday 15 April a green Jaguar Sovereign car and a blue Scania horsebox were in a collision on the Mobberley Road, Knutsford near the social club.
"The driver of the car, a 39-year-old man from Macclesfield, sadly died at the scene. Next of kin have been informed and are being supported by police. The driver of the horsebox, and the horse were uninjured.
"Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision as well as any dashcam footage that may assist in the investigation.
