Police appeal after Ballymoney security alert declared 'an elaborate hoax'

Ballymoney Co Antrim

Police have made a specific appeal for information following a security alert in Co Antrim on Friday morning.

The alert in the Crescent area of Ballymoney led to a number of homes being evacuated for several hours.

It has since been declared an " elaborate hoax " by police.
