Police and family concerned as twin girls, 11, reported missing

UPDATE* - Twin girls who were reported missing on Tuesday 10 May have been found safe and well.

Gracie and Millie Bennett, both 11, were located in Mountsorrel.

Chief Inspector Siobhan Gorman said: "I'd like to place on record my thanks to everyone who shared our appeal and the local community for their help in locating both girls."

Police are concerned for the welfare of two young twins who have gone missing from their home in the East Midlands. A search is currently taking place for Gracie and Millie Bennett, who are both 11 and from Mountsorrel.

The girls' family reported them missing shortly after 8.30pm on Tuesday, May 10. They are both described as white, 4ft 8ins and of a slim build.

The twins both have straight, dark brown hair below their shoulders. Millie was last seen wearing a black Nike Tec jumper, black jeans and white high-topped Nike trainers.

Gracie is wearing a navy blue hoody with the initials ‘MB’ on the chest, blue jeans and white Puma trainers. One of the girls is also carrying a cream-coloured backpack, while the other may have a navy backpack with white spots.

Anybody who has seen the girls or knows of their whereabouts are asked to call Leicestershire Police on 101 and quote incident 619 of May 10.
