One Pokemon GO player made a surprising discovery as they found a "Zelda-like" maze on the overworld map while stuck in traffic.

The user immediately shared their finding online and with the help of the community, the exact location of the maze and its purpose were revealed.

The corn maze area that Reddit user Remarkable_Cup6298 found was located near the I-94 highway in Wisconsin, United States.

The user shared a screenshot of his finding on Reddit and the Pokemon GO community immediately conducted an investigation. They found that the full top-down image shows that it reads, "Know the Signs" and "Heart Disease."

The maze is specifically located in Dunn County in Wisconsin and is meant to be a symbol of heart disease awareness and prevention.

The inside of the maze is also shaped like a heart along with arteries. The center also has a smaller heart with a large open area with entrances to other pathways, according to GameRant.

Because of the Reddit user's discovery, many Pokemon GO players were also inclined to visit the location of the supposed maze. This has made the area a relatively good location for hosting events and can be even better depending on active events and bonuses.

When the image of the maze was first uploaded to Reddit, one user said that it looked an awful lot like a dungeon you would see in The Legend of Zelda franchise.

Another also commented saying that it looked like alien crop circles or even the best Mario Kart track ever designed.

A Detailed Overworld Design

As Niantic's Pokemon GO uses OpenStreetMap as the base for its overlord, it means that someone created the maze in great detail in that particular program for it to look so detailed in the popular mobile game, said Dexerto.

The discovery of the maze comes as Pokemon GO held its annual Go Fest event when Niantic reminded millions of players why they used to love playing the game.

The event this year was said to have amazing execution and redeems the game after years of somewhat disastrous events.

The theme for this year was giving players a chance to win Ultra Beasts from raids and many of them are available in their shiny forms for the first time ever.

There is also a storyline that resolved with players being able to fuse Necrozma with Solgaleo or Lunala to create either Dusk Mane or Dawn Wings Necrozma, respectively, according to Kotaku.
