The Pokémon Company has shadow-dropped news ahead of the Pokémon World Championships 2025, confirming when fans attending the event in Anaheim will be able to reserve their slot on the on-site Pokémon Center to get that exclusive merch.
The Pop-Up Pokémon Center will only be available for those in Anaheim, and reservations will only be open to registered spectators, competitors, or those who are approved for a pass at the event. This decision has likely been made to stop the public, and scalpers who didn't get a ticket, from going in and hoarding all the items themselves. Whether or not that'll reduce the selling out and scalping of merchandise remains to be seen.
