Pollies draw up election blueprints as vote looms

Australia's prime ministerial hopefuls are polishing their public images as they finalise their plans of attack for the federal election.

With voters hitting the polls in a matter of months, the Liberals have pledged to get the nation "back on track" while Labor promised to "build Australia's future" in their respective campaign soft-launches.
