Manchester United, Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool are among the clubs competing for a place in the Champions League next season.
Arsenal and Manchester City, this season's runaway top-two, have all but guaranteed themselves a place in Europe's premier competition next term. It therefore leaves just two spots for the rest of the top-flight sides to compete over.
Man United are currently leading the race over the rest of the chasing pack as they sit third with 50 points after 26 games played. Tottenham are in fourth one point behind Erik ten Hag's side but have played 28 games - two more than the Red Devils.

Spurs have also played two more matches than fifth-placed Newcastle, meaning that should the Magpies win their two games in hand they will leapfrog the North London side. And should Eddie Howe's men win their next game against Man United after the international break - they will be in third place on goal difference having played the same number of games (27) as Ten Hag's squad.
Liverpool have had a recent resurgence of sorts, barring their recent 1-0 defeat to Bournemouth, as they sit five points behind Newcastle in seventh. Brighton and Brentford are both level on points (42) with Jurgen Klopp's side - yet the Seagulls have only played 25 games compared to Liverpool's 26 and Brentford's 27.
