PlayStation Network outage: Thousands locked out of online gaming as major disruption hits

PlayStation users worldwide have been left unable to access online gaming services following a major network outage that began on Friday evening.

The disruption has affected multiple services including account management, gaming, social features, PlayStation Video, PlayStation Store and the PlayStation Direct website, according to Sony's status page.
