The next major drop of "Fortnite" is finally shaping up to be a massive one, with Chapter 7 getting a major music collaboration in the battle royale game.
Playboi Carti Confirms 'Fornite's' Next Music Collaboration
Playboi Carti is the next artist joining "Fortnite," and the artist recently confirmed this news on the Instagram page of his record label and hip-hop collective group. Many have since been celebrating this latest collaboration of Epic Games and "Fortnite" with the 2017 BET Hip Hop Awards' Best New Hip-Hop Artist nominee.
This came alongside the recent announcement from the game, which excited many BLINKS worldwide as it was revealed that BLACKPINK's Lisa will headline the next "Fortnite Festival" that is already on Season 12.
The news about Playboi Carti joining "Fortnite" was first discovered by leakers and has been trending all over X in the past days.
Currently, "Fortnite" is closing out Chapter 6 of the game, which features "The Simpsons" as its main crossover, featuring many iconic spots from Springfield present on the battle island.
Playboi Carti's arrival on "Fortnite" will be similar to the recent collaboration by Epic Games with Tyler, the Creator as he will be a playable skin with different cosmetics options. The collaboration will include several of his accessories and songs.
What to Expect From 'Fortnite' Chapter 7
The collaboration with Playboi Carti has also been officially confirmed by "Fortnite."
"Fortnite" Chapter 7 Season 1 is set to go live by Sunday, November 30, but it has not been revealed by the developers if the Playboi Carti collaboration will immediately be available on day one.
Leaker HYPEX also claimed that Playboi Carti would have a Blitz Royale collaboration coming to the game.

As mentioned earlier, there are still no official details released by "Fortnite" or Epic Games regarding this Playboi Carti collaboration, and whether it would be available as a bundle to purchase.
It is possible that "Fortnite" will put the Playboi Carti collab items as obtainable rewards by completing specific missions or as part of the "Fortnite" Battle Pass, similar to previous artist collaborations.
