Plans for up to 110 homes to be built on the site of a former Eastwood school have taken a key step forward.
The homes are hoped to be built on land once occupied by the Lynncroft Primary School site, off Lynncroft and Walker Street.
Plans for the 14-acre site, which were described last year as a potential "disaster" by one councillor over traffic concerns, were recently approved by Broxtowe Borough Council.

The plans were submitted on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council, with the authority having been awarded £1m from the Government to install new junctions in the area.
The school was replaced by the Lawrence View Primary School on nearby land.
Now, surveying firm Heb has been recruited to find a buyer for the site.
Robert Maxey, a partner at Heb Surveyors, said he was "delighted" at the opportunity.
“We are delighted to be offering this superb development opportunity on behalf of the county council,” he said.
“This superb site offers an excellent opportunity to deliver 110 much-needed family homes in the location, and we anticipate excellent demand from the development community.”
